Returns/Replacement Policy

Builders Direct will be happy to organise the return to us of any product if:

  • We have delivered the incorrect product
  • The product sent is faulty
  • The product is not of merchantable quality


The Returns/Replacement Procedure

If you need to return a product for any of the reasons mentioned above please contact Builders Direct to explain the reason for the return.

If a return is due to our error or a faulty product we will organise and pay for the freight to return and replace the product. Please be aware that you must contact us first though and have your return approved.

Change of Mind

If you have made an error with your selection please contact us to discuss your options. We may be able to offer credit towards other items if the original purchase is returned to us in new condition (including packaging and instruction manuals). Please note that for incorrect selection you will be required to cover freight charges for return of an item and delivery of the newly selected items.

Refunds are not available for change of mind or for products where a different colour is wanted to the colour ordered. Please be aware that all computer screens will show colours differently. If you are unsure about a colour selection for anything on our website please contact us so that we can organise a colour sample for you.

The decision to grant replacement for change of mind is handled on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of Builders Direct.


Please be aware that returns will not be accepted if any part of the product or packaging is missing or has been damaged.
